Originally from the same town (Chaville in the Hauts de Seine), Alexandra and Laura’s paths crossed again in 2022.
They had too much in common for it to be a coincidence: German (obviously), but also – and above all – a shared vision of what a law firm should be: a simple, welcoming practice, focused on the future and taking social and environmental issues seriously.
That’s how Terra Legal was born!
Laura Pivette
Laura is a French German lawyer and mediator with a passion for human relations and peaceful working environments.
After eight years at Fidal Paris, she joined the Ticket for Change Entrepreneurs Program in June 2024 to learn how to build a law firm with a positive impact that supports the emergence of fairer and more resilient organisations.
She supports leaders and HR professionals in creating a peaceful workplace atmosphere through social dialogue, agreement negotiation and the prevention and management of sensitive situations (conflicts, reports, crises, etc.).
She also trains teams — HR, managers, employees — in the prevention of psychosocial risks and the co-creation of fulfilling work environments.
Since 2024 at AMSI Médiation, Laura firmly believes that listening and dialogue are powerful forces in a world often focused on confrontation.
Alexandra Frelat
Alexandra has been a labour lawyer for 15 years, with a simple, human and forward-looking approach.
She supports organisations in their transformations: conflict management, internal investigations, restructuring and sensitive transitions — always with the aim of finding sustainable solutions adapted to practical challenges.
With a Franco-German background and trained at the University of Potsdam (Germany), she advises foreign groups on setting up operations in France.
Her experience with leaders, HR directors and employees has given her a clear vision: the law is a tool for strengthening meaning at work, supporting environmental responsibility and changing practices in a regenerative way that benefits all stakeholders.
As a supporter of collective intelligence and co-construction, Alexandra likes to shake up the codes of an often very formal profession to put people back at the center.
